Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons of AMC's time-travel comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. Her performance received praise from the critics in the series and received nominations for six Emmy awards in the category of the best supporting actress. Over the course of her career of 20 years, she was recognized for her performance in the comedy drama Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star.
